Health management made personal

01
Research

User Pain Point & Target Population

Type-2 diabetes develops through insulin resistance and inadequate insulin production. Symptoms can emerge slowly and may initially be mild or absent, making them easy to overlook.

The target audience includes people at risk of developing the condition and those already diagnosed—especially individuals with limited awareness, delayed recognition, or difficulty accepting the diagnosis and engaging in self-care.

Key Features & Wireframe

A check-in and tracking system helps users record glucose levels and understand trends. Medication management organizes daily treatments, while low-sugar food recommendations make dietary change more comfortable and adaptable.

Mobile and smartwatch reminders stay synchronized with medication schedules to improve adherence.

Usability Testing

The central challenge was balancing complex medical information with a simple interface. Testing also focused on accessibility for people with visual or motor impairments, leading to repeated refinement of contrast, typography, and control sizes.
